It’s hard to believe it’s been so long, but July 5th will mark the 10th anniversary of Image & Form’s ultra-charming SteamWorld franchise. To mark the occasion, the studio has paired up with Super Rare Games to produce a limited run of physical releases for SteamWorld: Dig and SteamWorld: Heist!
This is the first time the games have been made available as physical copies on the Nintendo Switch. Existing fans of the series will have the opportunity to add them to their collection when pre-orders go live at Super Rare’s website on July 9th at 10:00am Pacific Time.
There are several options available:

SteamWorld: Dig – includes SteamWorld: Dig and SteamWorld: Dig 2 (included on same cartridge) – £30 – Limited to 5,000 copies

SteamWorld: Heist Ultimate Edition – includes SteamWorld: Heist and previously released DLC – £30 – Limited to 6,000 copies

SteamWorld: Dig + SteamWorld: Heist Collector’s Double-Pack – £60
No matter which you choose to pick up, Super Rare Games tell us they’ll come with “a full-colour manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and three trading cards randomly selected from a five card set”. Images of the set are posted below.
The double-pack in particular looks like a great way for new-comers to jump into the series, as you’ll be getting all three games in a cool little collection.
